Kate Christie

Kate Christie was born in Yorkshire in 1954 and graduated in 2001 with a BA Honours in Fine Art from the London Guildhall University. Kate lived in London from 1974 and in 2006 moved to Cowes in the Isle of Wight. Working exclusively in oil and specialising in capturing the essence of yachting. Her work depicts an abstract expressionism, a contemporary and unique view of the noise of yachting.

Kate Christie takes many commissions both in England and overseas and regularly exhibits at the following galleries:
