Nina Carrington
Nina Carrington was bought up in Hampshire and moved to Oxfordshire 10 years ago where she lives with the husband David and her three children. She has always loved photography since childhood and had her first camera at the age of thirteen and in later years undertook a two year diploma in photography in Oxford. Nina’s Grandfather was Spanish and she spent her childhood holidays every year around Seville,Andalucia and this has influenced her tastes towards Mediterranean and Morrocan styles. However at the same time she is also inspired by “ Feng Shui” and energies and healing therapies are an important part of her life and she has a shepherds hut in her garden for meditation.
Nina’s photographic style is influenced and inspired by the work of Edward Weston a well known photographer. She prefers to photograph in natural daylight without boundaries with the aim of creating beautiful images that people want to stop and stare.
“ My photography is about capturing something that is unique”
