Her latest project, 'A Tin Can Rhino for All to Meet', is her final major project for her MA Fine Art, invites you to follow the building of the life size female white rhino sculpture from tin cans, a material whose everyday familiarity contrasts with the animals increasing precarity.

Artist Statement
As a wildlife artist, I work through painting and sculpture to draw attention to animals that are vulnerable or at risk of extinction, encouraging viewers to reflect on how individual actions can contribute to ecological change. My practice is rooted in public engagement and the belief that art can spark meaningful conversations. I am deeply concerned with climate change, conservation, and the futures we are shaping for generations ahead. I aim to create works that are impactful, enduring, and emotionally resonant. Through colour, texture, scale and presence, I craft tactile and visually compelling encounters that foreground each animal subject with care and compassion.
I believe public art should act as a catalyst, an experience that lingers, prompting curiosity, questions, and imagined stories, especially among children encountering these animals for the first time. Building on both new and existing collaborations, I see my future in creating public installations situated in places where generations meet and where access is open to all. I imagine my work appearing in shared public spaces, offering unexpected moments of encounter with animals that may inspire interest, empathy, and ultimately a deeper ecological awareness.
